Being a new mother, it is imperative for me to be alert at all times. There is no way to possibly be 100% unless I get a good nights rest. My daughter has been sleeping on the Just Gel, Baby! Crib baby mattress since she was 3 months old. Ever since we transferred her from the bassinet to her crib she has slept soundly on that mattress. I feel very safe having her sleep in her crib or rolling onto her stomach to sleep for that matter. She feels safe, is safe, is very comfortable and actually sleeps through the night! In addition to sleeping soundly during nap time and during the night, I have gotten numerous compliments about the shape of her head as well. People will stop me on the street and say, "Wow, I've never seen a baby with a perfectly shaped head before." Our 3 oldest children all had trouble sleeping through the night as babies. In preparation for the arrival of our 4th baby, I pulled the crib and mattress out of storage. Though they were in good condition, and had worked fine for our other three kids, it hit me. "Maybe the mattress is the cause of the sleeping problems". Just for fun, i laid down on it on the floor, and quickly realized the plastic covered piece of foam had to go.
